In short: if you talk to our voice agent, Mark, Proof's AI Agent, the conversation is recorded, transcribed and stored, and people at PROOF read it. We use it to reply to you and to prepare a proposal. We don't sell it, and we only share it with the providers listed below.

Who is responsible

Bliss Applications, Lda., NIPC 509193331, registered office at Av. Marginal, Ed. Pq. Oceano, 4H, 2780-322 Oeiras, Portugal. PROOF is its AI product studio. For anything on this page, write to proof@blissapplications.com.

What we collect when you talk to Mark

Mark records and transcribes the conversation. From it we keep:

  • What you tell us about yourself — your name, email address, phone number, company and role.
  • What you tell us about the idea — a summary of it, who it is for, what stage it is at, the kind of organisation you are, whether it is funded, whether you can reach real users, who makes the decision, when you would want to start, and what budget range fits. We also keep whether you see value in testing the idea with users, whether you want a proof of concept or want to build the product straight away, whether you would commit to investing later, and the budget range you have in mind.
  • Our own reading of the conversation — whether PROOF looks like a fit, which format we would suggest, and whether you asked to speak to a person.
  • A record of the call — a summary, how long it lasted, and the transcript our voice provider returns to us.

You can talk to Mark without giving your name or your email. The conversation is still recorded.

What we do with it

We reply to you, and we prepare a short introductory deck about your idea, which we call a pre-proposal, for our own team to read before anyone contacts you. If you tell us you want to build the product, the engineering team at Bliss Applications is notified, with your contact details, so they can get in touch. If we then have a discovery call, our notes from that call are used to prepare a proposal for you. Nothing is published, and nothing is shared with other clients.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the ground for each use depends on its purpose. Recording and transcribing the conversation rests on your consent, which you give when you accept the terms before the conversation starts. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us, which does not affect what was done before. Replying to you and preparing the pre-proposal are steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. Telling the engineering team at Bliss Applications that you want to build the product, and following up your enquiry, rest on our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us. You can object to that at any time.

Who else handles it

  • ElevenLabs — runs the voice conversation and produces the transcript.
  • Lovable and Supabase — host this site and the database your details are stored in.
  • Anthropic — drafts the introductory deck and the proposal. These drafting agents receive what you said about the idea, your name, company and role, and our call notes, but not your email address or your phone number.
  • Google Drive — stores the finished decks and proposals, inside Bliss Applications' own workspace.
  • Slack — notifies the PROOF team that you got in touch, with your contact details and a summary of your idea.
  • Google Calendar — hosts the booking page. What you type there is handled by Google and is visible to the PROOF team.

The database where your details and the transcript are stored is hosted in the United States (Amazon Web Services, North Virginia). ElevenLabs, Anthropic, Slack and Google may also process data in the United States.

Data may leave the European Economic Area only with appropriate safeguards. For these providers we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, which are part of the data processing terms we have with them, or on the provider's certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

  • At ElevenLabs — for conversations from 3 October 2026 on, the recording and the transcript are deleted after 30 days. Earlier conversations may still be held there, and we delete them by hand if you ask. Our own copy of the conversation text stays in our database for the periods below.
  • If we never speak to you — if you talk to Mark and nothing in our records shows that we spoke afterwards, your record in our database is deleted 6 months after the conversation. We aim to review these records and delete the ones that are due every month, so the deletion can happen some weeks after that date.
  • If we do speak to you — if we speak afterwards, because you booked a call, asked to speak to a person or asked us to build the product, we keep your record and our call notes in our database while we are in talks, and delete them 24 months after our last contact if you do not become a client. If we agree to keep a record for longer, for example because you become a client, we aim to review that decision at least every 24 months.
  • What stays outside our database — the introductory deck and the proposal in Bliss Applications' own Google Drive, the notice we sent to our team in Slack, the processing session at Anthropic, and ElevenLabs conversations from before 3 October 2026. Deleting a record from our database does not delete these. We delete them by hand if you ask.
  • Backups and other providers — our database provider keeps encrypted backups, and other providers may keep copies for a short period, under their own terms. We cannot delete these by hand.
  • Booking entries in Google Calendar — the entry for a call you booked stays in Google Calendar after we delete the record. We delete it by hand if you ask.
  • Our clean-up log — when we delete records we keep a log of the clean-up. It holds the work e-mail address of the team member who ran it, the number of records deleted and the random identifiers of the deleted records, but no name, e-mail address or phone number of yours. We delete log entries older than 24 months when we next run a clean-up.
  • If you become a client — the terms of your contract apply from then on, and the law sets how long we must keep certain records, such as invoices.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time, as described below.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, in a commonly used format, or ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Write to proof@blissapplications.com and we will reply within 30 days. When you ask us to delete, we remove the records we can identify as yours from our database and delete by hand the copies described under 'What stays outside our database' and, if you booked a call, the booking entry in Google Calendar. You can also complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), Portugal's data protection authority.
